Make Yourself at Home explores the tension between intimacy and performance, examining how we shape - and are shaped by - the spaces we occupy. Through photographs and immersive installations, I investigate identity, domesticity, and self-preservation, asking what it means to "make" oneself within a culture of expectation.
The title plays on the double meaning of welcome and construction: how we decorate, soften, clean, and host, but also how we present, protect, and perform. From private rituals to public presentation, the show reflects the push-pull between wanting to be seen and needing to stay safe.
Thank you to everyone who visited, lingered, asked questions, or made themselves at home in the space.
